Sheila Andrews, Michael Andrews and Keith Dunstone, along with Les May from Yateley, won second prize at the recent Bowls Hampshire tour to The Dorset Resort. The team won all of their games in the qualifying league and come top.
They met Alan Shelley, Jeanette Shelley, Carol Eichen and Ken Eichen from Cove in the final. Despite winning 4 of the 6 ends in the final they lost by 2 shots.
We was robbed by the Cove contingent? Never mind there is always next year. Bowls Hampshire have already booked The Dorset Resort for same week next November. Certainly worth considering, the accommodation, food and entertainment was excellent.
