During Saturday’s Green preparation, three lady bowler uncovered a bowl lost several season ago when an un-named bowler fired so heavy that the bowl left the rink and got lost in the hedge.

Opening Drive 13th April 2014
The first bowling of the season will be on Sunday 13th April at 2.30pm , weather permitting. Get those bowls polished, greys pressed, shoes cleaned and challenge the grass.
Hotshot for Farnborough Four
On Monday 3rd February, Geoff Ringrose, Mick Moorcroft, Mick Browne and Bob Tillotson scored a maximum score of 8 shots on one end to qualify for a hotshot award. Well done to all four.
Farnborough Bowlers are runners up
Sheila Andrews, Michael Andrews and Keith Dunstone, along with Les May from Yateley, won second prize at the recent Bowls Hampshire tour to The Dorset Resort. The team won all of their games in the qualifying league and come top.
They met Alan Shelley, Jeanette Shelley, Carol Eichen and Ken Eichen from Cove in the final. Despite winning 4 of the 6 ends in the final they lost by 2 shots.
