Farnborough Bowling Club is having a Coffee Morning on Saturday 4th October in aid of the Mcmillian Cancer Support. So please come along and support this worthy charity.

Macmillan Cancer Support helps improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
There are currently 2 million people living with cancer in the UK. By 2030 there will be 4 million. We want to make sure we’re there for all of them.
One in three of us will get cancer and for most it will be the toughest thing we ever face. When you’re facing the toughest fight of your life, you need a team of inspiring people in your corner with you.
That’s who we are. We provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support and we push for a better cancer care system. We’re the team that gives you the strength and energy to face the fight and get through it.
We raised a grand total of £254.55 for this wonderful charity.
We had very tasty cakes, scones and biscuits and they have all gone.
The sweep stake (guess how many hundreds and thousands on the cake) – there were 4856 and my own guess was the nearest (4500) and I donated my winnings to this charity.
FBC will received a formal thank you from Macmillan Cancer Support once they receive our donation.
