“Today I went to prison, I really had been nailed,
There was no remission and not a chance of being bailed.
No charges had been made, for it was only on a hunch,
But who am I to worry? I only went for lunch.”
Many thanks to Vicky for arranging our group trip to THE CLINK on 18/01/12. This is the restaurant run by the prisoners inside HMP High Down, Sutton, for training and re-habilitation. An excellent experience for us and a superb meal prepared and served by the inmated under the supervision of qualifed instructors. One lesson well learned – don’t do anything to get banged up. They let you out again then?
Thanks John, that’s great.
It was a very good day; you couldn’t fault anything. Food excellently cooked and presented, service first class.
