Diane Hill is through to the semi-finals of the North Hants Ladies’ Singles, which is to be played on Thursday 20th August at St Mary Bourne.

Sheila Andrews is through to the Area Finals of the County Ladies’ Unbadged singles. The game will be at Hook, date and time to follow

Another enjoyable club competition made better by lovely weather. After some great games of bowls Christine and Martin Lee won 2 sets to love against Anne Hellier and Geoff Chadd in the final.

The Plate was equally well contested with new bowlers Carol and Allan Paice given Edna and John Lakeman a good run in the final but eventually loosing one and half sets to a half.

A big thank you to everyone for making the day a great success.

The A team still remain top of the A&D League Division 1. Well done to all the members who have bowled in the league so far.

Next week we are away to Windlesham so another win would be nice

A good win for Chris Henderson last night. He was 19-14 down with 3 ends to go put pulled back to within one shoot going into the 21st end where he was 3 down with one bowl to play. His last bowl took the jack into the ditch to pick up 3 and win the game.
