Farnborough B.C Sponsor a Laurel Campaign

Farnborough B.C Sponsor a Laurel Campaign

Many thanks to all of you who have pledged to Sponsor a Laurel Bush. We have, so far, secured pledges for 15 Laurels, which is brilliant!

Our target is 25 Laurel Bushes so that we can completely replace the Boundary Road Hedge.

We have already ordered the Laurels and they will be delivered to the Club on Thursday 29th March.

So what happens next?

Everyone who has pledged to sponsor a Laurel should now pay either Anne Hellier or myself  by cheque or cash.

The cost is £20 for each Laurel you wish to Sponsor. Please pay by the 23rd March, as we have to pay for the Laurels when they are delivered. Please make cheques payable to Farnborough Bowling Club.

If you would like to sponsor a Laurel, and haven’t done so yet then let me know – please contact me on 01252 625313, to make a pledge.

Working Parties

Come along and help take out the old hedge on Saturday 24th March from about 9am and Thursday 29th March.

Also, come along and help plant the new hedge on Saturday 31st March.

Thanks once again for supporting this scheme. Your support will make a big and long lasting difference to the Green and its surroundings.

Give either myself or Edna Lakeman (our very own gardening expert) a call if you would like to know more.
