Congratulations to Farnborough trio of Martin Lee, Keith Dunstone and Chris Henderson for reaching the finals of the Aldershot & District 2 Wood Triples Final. For the second year running we were drawn against a strong Cove triple and despite as good start Cove gradually pulled ahead to finish up with a convincing win.
Our men played well and the Club is proud of them getting this far and maintaining our success in this competition over the last few years. Winners next year?

Boyd Shield Win
Farnborough Bowling Club had a narrow victory over Aldershot Underwood in the Farnborough & District Boyd Shield last night. The Away Team lost both of their matches but the Home Team won both of their matches by a larger margin of shots – mainly by a good win by the Triples, giving us the win on shots scored. The Away Team Rink did make a last few end rally, without this we would have probably lost; just shows even when loosing every shot counts. The Rink did also win the extra end, necessary if the total shots were the same. Well done everyone.

Win in Goolding Cup
Both sides won in last night Goolding Cup against Pyestock to go through to the next round. The home team won by 4 shots and the away team won by a convincing 26. Well done Farnborough.
