I believe this is the first Hotshot for Rob even though he has been bowling for years. Welcome to the Hotshots Club.
The green had its first cut a couple of days ago and looked very nice on Saturday morning. Not bad since it was bare earth two and a half months ago.
At the AGM on the 5th November the new committee was elected. The officers are listed below

After a couple of weeks the grass has started to grow and now the seed has germinated over nearly all of the green.
With some favourable weather the grass should continue to grow for some time yet giving a good base for establishing the new green in the Spring.
There are six months before the bowling season begins; a lot of time for the grass to get further established.
After delays through bad weather the green renewal is nearing completion. Last week the new root zone was spread across the green and is being laser levelled ready for seeding .
