Despite the recent heavy rain the weather stayed dry and we had some excellent matches.

The semifinals were closely contested and the final, between Barry & Martin v Rachel and Terry, was another close match.

The four losing quarterfinalists played off in a fun competition with the final, between Andrew &Alison v Cindy & Edith, going all the way to the last end of the tiebreak with Cindy and Edith winning.

Winners Barry and Martin

Killer Bowls 30th April

Killer Returned on Sunday 30th April – with a vengeance

This event is unique to Farnborough – it is fun – the organiser (Arthur and his helpers Edith and Pam) requested that there was a lot of noise, booing and hissing –there certainly was but most of it was directed at Arthur who did nothing to provoke it!

We had three rounds so everyone had three chances of getting into the semi-final, those who managed it were Jack, Graham, Martin, Mick, Andrew, Barbara, Pam L, Simon, Sheila, Chris W, Stuart, Rachel.

The finalists were Pam Laken, Stuart Markham, Martin Lee and Andrew Milligan.

It was won by Stuart Markham – he has won it before and it is about time someone stopped him doing it.

Lovely afternoon – thank you to the 28 people that took part and made it FUN and noisy.
